Charlene Caprio has a diverse background of academic studies, professional skills and interests. She studied Literature and Classics at Skidmore College and served in the Peace Corps. She also holds a M.A. in Russian and East European Studies from Yale University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School (where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Journal of East European Law). In the summers of 2014 and 2015, she attended the Yale Writers' Conference.

Charlene has lived and worked in various places, including New York City, Russia, Greece and Poland. She also lived in London, Berlin and Amsterdam. She currently practices law, writes and consults on various projects. Charlene is an avid supporter of going after your dreams, hiking in nature, spending time on and under the sea, and a healthy lifestyle. 

Update: Charlene’s draft novel was selected in the top 10 submissions for Crime Fiction at Black Spring Press, London, England, and was a best finalist in the 2022 Killer Nashville “Thriller” competition. She is still working on it and aim to publish it soon.
